While elite athletes have long favored in-pool water jets for resistance training, high costs have prohibited them from most swimmers. Now iGarden found a way to bring professional-grade resistance to the home pool with its new Swim Jet P Series. The stainless-steel system uses full-inverter technology for quiet, variable power and a patented flow-channel design that creates wide, consistent currents of up to 1,100 gallons per minute. “We focused on family fun, inviting kids and amateur and professional swimmers to try it as we gathered data,” says iGarden project manager Echo Ke. Ahead of its U.S. launch in October, iGarden inked a partnership with USA Artistic Swimming.
